Interview with David Gallagher (November 2004, TheWB.com)
On being a sucker for romance: "I may talk the big talk...tell myself I want to date a lot of girls, be a player, be a pimp, but when it comes down to it, I really am that kind of guy who'd rather find someone I really like and do the boyfriend thing." On being a film student: "Since I was little, getting [my degree] has always been part of the master plan. The entire college experience is so great. Living on campus, learning about film, playing Ultimate Frisbee and going to parties. It's really true when they say you find yourself in college." On his most mortifying 7th Heaven moment: "Sadly, my first kiss, ever, was on television. The entire world saw my little, dorky, awkward person try to kiss a girl for the first time. I was so scared!" On being cool: "I hate that cool crowd thing. I realized that in high school - it was such a completely weird experience. You've got cliques, the cool crowd, the not-so-cool crowd, the jocks, the nerds, the whatever and it is so lame and petty and not at all progressive. In college, thankfully, you don't have to deal with all that. People don't have time to make fun of other people." On turning twenty: "It's hard to imagine that I am going to be twenty [years old]. My teen years are going to be gone soon, at least on paper, and that is so strange to me because I have made that entire journey on television." |
